This instruction focuses on the 9V "high quality" clip from Reichelt. 

With a thing flat screw driver tip, remove the 9V clip cover.

Bend the terminals up.

With pliars twist and remove the end of the terminal and the wire.

Drat und Enden entfernen.

Remove the other lead,

Remove the nickel plating on the terminal by
twisting a drill bit in the terminal hole.

Nickel Beschichtung mit Bohrer oder Schleifstein entfernen.

Plating removed.

Beschichtung entfernt.

Fix the 9V clip to a battery or the battery
holder to act as a heat sink.

9V Klips auf Batterie stecken fuer Waerme Koerper.

Cut the power cable to the desired length and
strip the ends of the wire.    The white striped cable
is (+) and goes to the center of the 5.5x2.1 connector.  

Kabel auf Laenge schneiden und die Enden abstreifen.  
Weiss gestriffed Kabel sird (+) und ist innen in dem 5.5x2.1 mm Holstecker.

Pre tin the terminals with solder.   Be careful not to apply the
heat for too long or you will melt the plastic.

Kontakte verzinnen.   Vorsicht!   Nich so viele
Waerme einleiten lassen. 

Thread the wires throught the slot in the 9v clip.
The white lead is goes to the (+) terminal.

Kabel im schlitz einfuegen.  Weiss (+), schwarz (-)

Solder (+) white lead to the (+) terminal (crown)

Weiss Kabel an Krone Kontakt loeten.

Solder the (-) black lead to the (-) terminal (round)

Schwarz an runde Kontakt loeten. 

Check connection with a battery and the lamp.   Replace the cover.
