Introduction:    On this page I will show the steps to make a bright reflector based LED tail light.

Materials needed:  Reflector that can be preyed open, white LED G4 1SMD WS, cable, mini rocker switch, 2 part epoxy putty 5 minute, 2 part epoxy glue, Milliput 2 part epoxy putty, shrink tubing

Costs:  LED 3.50€, mini rocker switch 2.20€

carefully pry open the reflector

Drill hole for the cable

Solder cable to the G4 LED, insulate with shrink tubing

Test connection

Attach LED to reflector base with two part epoxy putty

Prepare 2 part epoxy for gluing reflector back together

Glue the reflector back together.   Let glue cure

cut wire and solder in mini rocker switch

fix rocker switch with two part epoxy putty to reflector

prepare Milliput black to enclose switch

Enclose switch with Milliput.   Let cure for several hours
